My name is Kim Hannah-Prater, and I hold a Ph.D. in Communication (University of Maryland, 2021) and research rhetoric and political culture. My dissertation is a rhetorical criticism of mediated depictions of Hillary Clinton in political satire and parody. My husband and I live in Baltimore, Maryland, with our daughter.
You might know me by my alias, Arkansassy Kim. This nickname emerged from a comment I received from an improv teacher saying that I should be called "Arkansassy" because of my witty comments and birth state of Arkansas. I took that suggestion and ran with it.
